Catch up post

Some new photies! There are two from near Cramond Island when I was cycling with Poisonous a couple of weekends ago. Then the new cabbage patch. I like the next one, the folk playing the bagpipes in Inverleith Park. I was meditating about twenty yards away when this racket started up! But you've got to laugh. Anyway, the allotment on evenings like that is just a great place to sit and read. The bottom photie is of a very nice person who came to stay for a few days last weekend with her kids and husband following on. Couldn't have had better visitors. She cleaned the kitchen when her kids arrived possibly due to the food poisoning prospects. It's just a shame I hadn't a photie of that surface before she cleaned it! A herculean task if ever there was one!

Lovely machines!

The last time I went shopping with Brian Wilson he stole a jacket and I had to take it away and give it to an old age pensioner to assuage the guilt. But everything is forgiven because he's bought me a telly! It's even better than the £430 shades! You can see dead people walking around on this telly. I think it's time for the return of hallucinogens. You can wear the Monet hat and the shades and strap yourself into the seat with a zapper in each hand.
The telly was simple to set up. Some old people are frightened by technology and they have to take their computers back because they cannot switch them off, but what they need is a son in law. Your own children are always useless. They have no need to be nice. As soon as you start fumbling with the box, the son in low, who loves zappers and technology, has it up and running in about ten minutes.
The reason why I find things very easy is because I don't care. I'm sure someone else will enjoy fixing stuff much more  than me. I'm trying to do emptiness and non-attachment. At the end of the day, it's just a load of old photons anyway.
Brian Wilson took me to a warehouse. There wasn't a man to speak to about the specifications. You just read a label, pick up a flat pack, and go. It was a place only known to the evil bourgeois. They give you air miles. So Brian Wilson had taken me there so he could buy the telly with his card and thus increase his air mile dividend. This is obsessive behaviour, a sign that someone is on the autism scale. All my friends are on it. Albert has the totally good housekeeping seal of approval on that one. Brian Wilson has been so obsessed with his air miles that he doesn't realise that he's just given me a telly that costs over £700.
Except it's for free. He could give me two tellies and it still wouldn't make a dent.
But it must be fraud. I don't have the warranty on the telly. It's in his name. I'd better phone the polis or I won't be able to sleep tonight. I'll have to sit up and watch the telly.

Weeds

The last two photies are of bolted leaks. So no leaks for the soup this year. The other photies just shows what happens if you leave your allotment for three weeks during the summer. When you come back, it's covered in weeds!!! I was shocked.
I did nothing to the onions this year. I was going to fertilise them, etc., but I forgot and they did better than they've ever done. The second early tatties are delicious. I managed to get some raspberries, but the strawberries have gone! But a large part of the stuff I planted didn't show. Usually, you get millions of turnips, but bugger all this year. Ditto with the cabbages, but I may be able to retrieve that a bit.
Today I had the kind of day I'm supposed to have. I was up and meditating shortly after nine. I Skyped my friend in Hong Kong, went up to the allotment to dig, came home and started writing my book about Ecuador.
It's great to start writing again. Wish I'd never tried to give it up in the first place. This time I'm going to try and write a funny book.
The kindle books started to sell again after an eighteen month break. Sold about five books in the last six weeks. Who knows why? The rock bottom price obviously helps!!

Even more photies of Ecuador

Strangely strangely to be back home. All my living routines have been demolished and I'll have to find a way to reconstruct them. I haven't been up before noon for the last three days and this is very weird for me. I wasn't expecting the jet lag to be noticeable really, but it's through everything.

The allotment has entirely exploded in weeds. A disgrace!! I was hoping to be there all day yesterday and today, but I can't get up in the morning! Anyway, I got some tatties out of it today and had my first boiled tattie dinner of the season.

I've been having lots of thoughts about writing. Once I can get up in the morning, everything will be fine!!
