During the ten years I was interested in writing drama, I had eight plays produced on radio and on stage, but I was always more interested in writing prose. I've had two novels published by three publishers, but I have eight unpublished novels. All ten books are now available on Kindle. This blog was set up to give me an internet presence and help to promote these ebooks. So I'm a writer and playwright who lives in Edinburgh.

More India photies
The colourful photies were taken at the Root Institute. At night time there it was quite pretty, if a little cold. One of the photies below that is of the place next door. It might have been some kind of educational institute, but I took a photie because of the gigantic soup pots! Obviously, for communal meals. The two photies under that are of the station at Gaya. There were more Indians lying down in the stations than normal, I think. Because of the foggy conditions, the government said some of the trains would be cancelled till FEBRUARY, so I guess some folk were prepared for a long sleep. But I admired the way they slept. Lots of them carried around thin blankets for over their shoulders and whatnot. They'd lie down and cover themselves completely with these; heads, feet, everything. They might have cardboard down or some kind of mat. Dogs would go over and lie beside them on the edge of the mats.
